Jim Parris - Vice President, TransPar Group, Inc.
Mr. Parris is responsible for the delivery of high quality management and consulting services to TransPar's customers. Mr. Parris assures that the operational aspects of TransPar's services are sufficient to meet the day to day demands of the industry.

Vice President & Operations Director - TransPar Group - TransPar provides specialized management and consulting services to school districts and other entities in the transportation industry. Mr. Parris joined the company in 1996, thus providing a seasoned bus operations resource for its clients. He has assisted school bus contractors with addressing operational matters, and coordinated the sale of one of the larger operators in the eastern U.S. He managed TransPar's bus sales subsidiary. TransPar has served over 100 customers during its 11 year history, and now employs 80 experienced staff.
Area Manager - Laidlaw Transit - Laidlaw was the largest provider of school and public bus service throughout the U.S. After the sale of Mayflower to Laidlaw, Mr. Parris provided area management in Laidlaw's Midwest school operation division.
Vice President - Mayflower Contract Services - (previously R. W. Harmon & Sons) - Mayflower owned and operated 10,000 school and public transit buses throughout the nation. Mr. Parris started with Harmon in 1971 and was a key player in growing the company from a few hundred buses to over 10,000 when purchased by Laidlaw in 1995. He served as a terminal manager, area manager, and ultimately a regional VP accountable for 4500 operating units.
Mr. Parris is a member of the National School Transportation Association and the National Association of Pupil Transportation.
He earned a BSE degree from Central Missouri State University.
