Mrs. Newby is responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality management and consulting services to TransPar's customers and establishing corporate culture and values. Mrs. Newby is the primary contact for customer service and customer retention issues.

Co-Founder - TransPar Group - TransPar provides specialized management and consulting services to school districts and other entities in the transportation industry. Mrs. Newby founded the company in 1995, with the goal of assisting school districts with their pupil transportation needs. TransPar provided public bus service for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta GA. TransPar grew to serve over 100 customers during its 11 year history, and now employs 80. Mrs. Newby became President when Mr. Martin temporarily left TransPar in 1998, and has directed the company's affairs since. She designed a school bus industry journal. She co-owned two school bus body shops and a new and used bus dealership.
Sales & Administration - Mayflower Contract Services - (previously RW Harmon & Sons) - Mayflower owned and operated 10,000 school and public transit buses throughout the nation. Mrs. Newby joined Mayflower in 1986 and performed key roles in personnel, marketing and operations administration. She coordinated the company's participation in national and regional associations and conventions, and managed communications with Mayflower's customers and interested parties, including investors.
Mrs. Newby is a member of the National School Transportation Association, the National Association of Pupil Transportation, Missouri, Kansas and Illinois' State Pupil Transportation Associations, and of Kansas City's Central Exchange
